University Market Day OOTD

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last posted! Uni is proving to be a lot of work, and it seems like I don’t have time for anything. My schedule is completely packed and I have all this study to catch up on. In fact, I’m supposed to be doing an assignment right now. Oops!

Before all this mayhem started, I took some snaps of an outfit I wore to ‘Market Day’ at the university, which was basically just a whole bunch of stalls crammed together advertising ‘free cotton candy’ and whatnot. Very hot and unpleasant I must say! However, as always, I cheered myself up with some shopping therapy. Ahh, there’s nothing quite like fashion to take your mind off a hot, busy day.

Top – Sportsgirl, Jeans – Sportsgirl, Shoes – Pied a Terre, Necklace – Lovisa.

The one thing about university which I’m particularly struggling with at the moment is the lack of a social life. I feel like I’ve lost all my friends from high school, although we do try to keep in touch, and now I have to start from scratch all over again. And it’s proving to be difficult. I just can’t seem to meet anyone who I connect with in any way. I have extremely mild acquaintances in some of my classes but nothing at all to be considered ‘friends’. Everyone else seems to have met their lifelong best friends and then there’s me without anyone. Oh well, perhaps in a few weeks everything will be different. Who knows, I might meet my future best friends in a few hours!

Love as always,

A xx

All About Audrey

Audrey Hepburn. Ever since I was a small child I have adored this Hollywood sensation. Her timeless, simple, elegant, and signature style has always fascinated me. My favourite outfit was always her day scene get-up in Rome in her role as Princess Ann in Roman Holiday. I just loved the crisp, button-down white shirt with the striped necktie and belted skirt. It seemed like the perfect outfit for a princess in disguise. The pastel outfits of Paris When it Sizzles provided a shift from her usual colour scheme, and she looked fantastic in them! And I could never forgot the all-black outfit she donned in the nightclub scene in Paris in Funny Face. She sure can pull off the turtle neck! Her style is simple, chic and absolutely timeless, and that famous pixi-cut of hers always won me over. Here are some of my favourite Audrey looks:
